Welcome Persephonie!

Sebastian's baby sister Persephonie was born on September 28, 2007 @ 3:33am. She's a perfectly healthy little girl weighing in at 6lbs even with long legs and her daddy's big feet and toes. She was born with her eyes wide open and she didn't even let her mommy have a chance to take any kind of pain medication for delivery as she was delivered a mere 2.5 hrs after reaching the hospital and 30 minutes or so after the water broke.

Sebastian is adjusting well so far to life with a new baby sister, and has been a very helpful and loving big brother. He shows concern when she cries, gives her hugs and kisses, and hands us the diapers when we change her. He also likes to point out how many toes she has and where her facial features are. When she's napping, he inquires about where she is-- so I think he's learning that she is a permanent change to our lives. And when she's feeding, he wants to sit next to us and drink his box of soy milk too as not to be left out. ;)
